they're little bitches
Guarantee the poster looks like this :le-pol-face:
The whole 'bet you wouldn't say that to their face' thing is a little played out and totally lame over the internet, but still...
in my experience this is the attitude of most white suburbanites towards black people- and the rest is optics. hating rap is like red flag one. followed by an obsession with hard-work or polite society etiquette.
i used to tutor SAT/ACT (most clients being white suburbanites), and the number one tell that they were politically not cool was if they had voiced antipathy for rap/ the nba (and were guaranteed shits if they liked college basketball but didn't like nba).
guaranteed shits if they liked college basketball but didn’t like nba

I think you just turned me into one of those white guys who don't like rap.
not even gonna read it, every europoid discussion of rap is either
- rap bad
- eminem good
modern rap is crap!!!!1! its all mumble rap the only good rappers are NF and emenim 😤 😤
"What's crackalackin in the hood, my g? You got my paper for that good stuff I gave you? Don't make me go all thug on your ass"
I love comment sections like that almost as much as the ones on r/hiphopheads where white kids discuss the politics and ethics of rap beefs and street violence, which they are qualified to do having listened to several Chief Keef albums.
The whodatmiami fiasco on HHH and resulting fallout was the funniest shit to happen anywhere on Reddit.
For the uninformed, a 15 year old dorky raggedy Andy looking white boy from the south posted on there talking about “me and BAE”. I can’t find the thread but I’m pretty sure that was when all the POC left that sub cause they discovered it was filled to the brim with white boys like whodatmiami
Edit: fuck yes I found it!

Fuck man that was gold. That really was kind of the moment most people had to take a step back and think, this is who I've been arguing with about Drake vs Kendrick?
There was a brief moment in time early on where HHH wasn't too bad. It used to be mostly old dudes who grew up listening to rap, or that's what it seemed like anyway. It was kind of fun to go there and shoot the shit, and there were some good recommendations to be found. It happened really gradually but eventually it dawned on me that it was the only place online I was actually getting into political arguments and the reason I was so surprised at how dumb all these people were was that they were probably in middle school and practicing commercial performative wokeness that they didn't really understand.
found out about Freddie Gibbs there when he dropped Deuces, so I'll be forever in that sub's debt
Haha I got into Freddie when Pitchfork gave Pinata a good review, which is one of the whitest ways to get into Freddie Gibbs.
I mean I heard about him on HHH so I'm one to talk
but still,
one ofthe whitest wayas long as you listen to the rest of the catalog you're good
and if you haven't seen the Dueces video (the tyson/holyfield fight not the actual video for Dueces) or the Still Livin 2 video, I highly recommend
I love Freddie. He's such a funny guy and he's talented as hell. I'll definitely check out that video, thanks for recommending!
Haha god damn that's pretty cool. Wish the downloads were still hosted.
You can find em on Soulseek. Idk that I've got em all but I've found most of his early catalog on there & all his singles.
Whenever I start a new job I always make sure to play some rap (and not rap that has been given the official "ok by white people" stamp) early on. Really amazing how many people will show themselves as straight up racist fucks, and start talking shit.
If that's the reactions you're getting, just imagine what would happen if you played this song
and not rap that has been given the official “ok by white people” stamp
oo this can mean a lot of things
For me it'd be some trae tha truth, but curious what your go-to is.
love me some thugger too
guess Old English it is
Hitting em w/ some Denzel Curry would prob work well too. Lil Ugly Mane for the lulz as well
Today on "is this screenshot from r/conservative or r/neoliberal"
I don't get a lot of rap rammed down my throat in my life. I don't know why these people can't keep their mouths shut. Nobody cares if you don't like a thing unless they are in that moment asking you if you like it or not. Which I guarantee is not the case here.
Their definition of rap is anything harder than the Ink Spots that's sung by a black person
Screamin' Jay Hawkins must have terrified these people out of their minds... oh wait, he did.
