I punched a chud dipshit for grabbing me and my gun bag back at the shooting range a few years back. I have a BLM patch on my bag and this dude really grabbed me and my bag and said “BLM isn’t welcome here” so I just instinctively reacted to having a weapon grabbed and punched him right in the face.

Luckily the three other people who were there saw/heard what happened and helped get management to kick the guy out. In hindsight maybe not a great idea to punch somebody at a shooting range but likewise maybe also not a great idea to aggressively grab somebody and their gun at a shooting range either.

Alex Jones attacked me and my comrades at the RNC in Cleveland. A friend of mine actually hit him, but I only punched his megaphone and the cops broke it up immediately.

Right after that is when the "God, those communists are amazing," video was made.

I got into a bunch of fights throughout middle/highschool, got arrested for vandalizing an expensive country club, and then my parents decided to give me an outlet so I wouldn't get in more trouble. At 16 I started training Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu, but after my first victory in the ring I realized that while I love the flow and purity of being mid-fight, I don't want this ugly business to be my life. Someone I was training with at the time told me that he "Just wanted to fuck people up" and that's when I knew it wasn't for me.

Now I garden, forge, and share my expensive martial arts education for free with any comrade who asks. Unarmed fighting ability is the skill that has helped make people ungovernable for centuries. I'm still hopelessly addicted to sparring though.

what's the best submissions against someone who is considerably stronger than you? I was in a scrap the other day and while I was never in danger and had the guy pinned and on the edge of giving up the whole time, I couldn't finish him because he could just pull my arms off his neck or arm or whatever I was targeting

It depends on your positions, whether you're standing or on the ground (and if you're on the ground are you in mount, does the other guy have guard, ect). In my experience the easiest and most versatile submissions on the ground are kimura/americana/keylock submissions that lock up your opponent's elbow and shoulder. Once you find the one you like (The americana is the easiest for me, since it's simple and I'm not a grappler) and drill it a few times, and from a few different positions, try it in a sparring setting. This family of submissions isolates your opponent's single arm against both of yours, which makes overcoming strength differences easier.

The armbar works on the same principle, except instead of two arms you lever your entire body against their one arm.

Honorable mention goes to the rear naked choke, which is the closest thing I've ever seen to a "go to sleep" button on the human body.

Heel hooks and straight ankle locks. Only trained grapplers expect you to go for the feet.

Punched a Chud in the throat for calling me a slur

We were both drunk, but I'm pretty sure he ended up in the hospital

I say pretty sure, because the second he hit the floor, his Chud buddies shot up and I put myself out the door and running before the bouncers even started to react

But if you’re just browsing the front page you’ll see it either way. It would just make it all a bit more organized for those that want that and for everybody else nothing really changes.

          ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Only fought over over politics twice, and to my great shame, lost spectacularly one of them.

Was discussing ... Can't rightly remember what, something about unions, with my brother at a bar, just normal banter, some colorful language about walls and who should stand before them, but it did piss off some Finnish guys in the other booth, and one of them, this tiny, bald man, squared up as we were leaving, talking about what communists did to his country. Got real close, you know like some guys do when they're acting big, so I thought he was just posturing, then I came to on the floor a few seconds later.

According to my brother, he'd given me this straight up textbook uppercut. Dude was so short he could get full power off well within my effective reach. I'm lucky I had my jaw clenched at the time.

The other time, I went to a karaoke with a mate, and despite the booklets having these old punk songs, the regular clientele really didn't like it when we drunkenly belted out Staten och Kapitalet in their bar, and really didn't like it when we kept singing loudly in the face of one of them who came up to tell us to leave, so it turned into what was mostly drunken shoving and some badly thrown punches before the bouncer broke it up and kicked us out.

Honestly, at protests I'm mostly trying to Prevent fighting, because I'm way too fucking careful. And people generally don't start shit with me. And that not me acting tough, it's just that I've rarely been in the company of anyone who saw any reason to start anything.

I worry about getting into fights on concrete in case one of us slips and just fucking dies on the spot lmao. What happened with yours?

Yes actually, for the first two questions. Went to a primary school in a fairly conservative area, was in a class with two guys who were right wing skinheads who were massive dicks to me, so I guess in reaction to that I got into punk and communism. At one point I decided to start defending myself, or rather, not give a fuck about getting my shit kicked in, which was going to happen anyway, so I ended up kicking one of them in the nuts. Good times.

The funny story is one of those guys is now not a prick at all, and manages a hotel somewhere, and properly apologised about being a shithead to me. Dunno about the other guy.

I think the funniest instance of confrontation I've ever had was when I was 10. My uncle sprayed me with a hose when I was about to go somewhere with my parents and a friend and I straight up punched him in the face. Scrawny little 10 year old punching a burly mechanic in his 30s in the face and he teared up and threw driveway gravel at me lmao. I of course cried because I knew I was in trouble and thought he was going to hit me back (he didn't).

Other confrontations I'd rather not get into because I don't want to doxx myself. Somehow I've avoided getting my ass kicked despite very dicey circumstances. I kinda want to get some formal training.

Tbh when I look back at it I was pretty ballsy. I had seen him fight an other adult before and dude is a beast. I just went for it and braced for impact and he luckily wasnt stupid enough to hit me back.
