Don't know where I got this from, might've been here, might've been the old sub. I dunno.

Also, classic leftist meme - has a billion words.

Anyone get sentimental at this kind of thing? Idk if it's pride in the communist movements of the past or sadness that the struggle continues, but for centuries nearly every single person has toiled under the tyranny of capital and to at least share that idea with these revolutionaries that it must be ended, that it can be ended, just causes an upswell of emotion for me.

its just wild to me that there has for more than a century been an ongoing massive global ideological struggle that you basically get taught in school about just being "evil iron curtain commies tried to enslave everyone and rule the world!!"

This is kinda random but I feel like revolution will be hard because of how much surveillance is everywhere even the most innocent apolitical people are basically having all their data collected

This would be a bit more compelling if the 1870 and 1905 muscle doges were regular or only semi-swole doges instead and the top row also included a cheem-like 1848 commie on the top row. It should show some actual growth and continuity between the weak undeveloped cheem and the fully-Bolshie muscle doge.

More like 10-12 generations right? Assuming that this all started at around Marx.

We can start with the Diggers and Levelers of England if we want to stretch it further.

Sure, I just wanted to point out that arguably it hasn't taken many generations to achieve these victories. Once Lenin entered the scene the machine really started thumping out victories.
