this is the funniest wiki page i have ever seen like there is a cannon and legends version of the breast page with a photo of bare chested adam driver on the cannon one which really sold me on this page

And if you go into the History of the page there was very clearly a brief edit war of if the canon breast image should be Adam Driver or Hayden Christensen and whether or not it should mention that Anakin doesn't produce milk

both good pics actually, they should have kept both, like the legends version looks horny but the cannon version looks like a group of people have been looking frame by frame for every single canonical breast and i like the dedication

Star wars was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away. That is just the style that they write the wiki in.

It's not that boobs on a snake lady is 100% bad all the time, it's just that it's an obvious example of how alien or monstrous races will have interesting designs for males and then the females will be "human woman in a costume".

I feel like making everybody in a fantasy setting super hot is morally neutral. It's the fact that there will be art of non super hot characters too - but they will almost always be men, because men are more likely to be "allowed" to be unattractive. Or you'll have unattractive guys be both good and evil, but every unattractive woman will be evil. Or you'll have diverse body types among the men, but every woman will be the same waifish body type. etc.

Maybe the best way to go is the late Final Fantasy route. Make every character look like a pop idol.

Even as someone who does enjoy being constantly horny, I've never been able to enjoy fan service in video games because it feels so condescending.

yeah, it's kind of like beer ads or motorsport stuff that features bikini girls, it just seems like it's pandering to as many horny dudes as possible, just really patronizing and objectifies the audience too

For me it's the combination of 3 factors:

      1. the trigger is inescapable at all times, instead of tastefully shown at select intervals
      2. the body proportions are hyperfeminine, outside the range of even what the most plastic surgery-addled celebs have
      3. the graphics are hyperrealistic

I could deal with any 2 off this list, but all 3 and it just feels like softcore porn

I usually play realistic/low fantasy type setting and when I see some tundra peasant woman collecting cabbages in a skirt I'm like "bruh aren't you cold?"

always get mods to slap some proper clothes on people, clothing is a reflection of your fake civilizations' culture and if vibe I get is "horny culture" well then your game sucks. shitty dev should have jacked off first before designing garbage.

Hate how there's practically no ugly women in Skyrim. When you build character models like a 13 year old boy, you can't use one character's beauty to drive any story elements or signal anything.

Yeah those are the people installing absolutely terrifying vaguely anime-style blow up doll mods, which are half the content on Nexus Mods. "Why doesn't the female imperial soldier in the opening cutscene not even have stilettos, or maybe some purple lipstick? She's wearing leather, sure, but it's this boring cuirass and it hides pretty much all of my HD BDSM piercing mods. What the fuck Todd Howard?"

The default women in Skyrim are, I guarantee you, far more attractive and better kempt than a bunch of cabin-dwelling medieval potato farmers could ever manage.

That's true, but also every character's face model is really ugly (albeit not to the uncanny extent of Oblivion)

The Nier game director came out and said that he made it like that because he wanted her to be sexy. No Kojima "words and deeds" stuff at least.

"She breathes through her skin" like wtf.

Quiet mostly wears the XOF clothing when I have her along, honestly her usual clothing is immersion-breaking to me, the canonical explanation notwithstanding.

I don’t know why, maybe internalized misogyny, but I really enjoy playing as sexy ladies in games.

I feel empowered playing FFXIV as a tall bunny lady in a bustier. I always make my Sims with Love and Hip Hop proportions (and turn all the male sims into buff himbos). I love Soul Calibur. I prefer Crystal dynamics-era Tomb Raider to the reboot one because she was hotter and did gymnastics(also the games were better). Also usually when I play games with romances I try to sleep with everyone.

IRL I’m somewhere on the ace spectrum, I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

Most of the people I know that installed the barbie dressup mods for games like Dragon Age or Mass Effect were women. And the horniest posters (at least when it came to DA) were also women. It seems to be fairly common.

My partner also dislikes the reboot tomb raider, but her reason is mostly that it became too self-serious.

I still enjoyed the reboots from a gameplay perspective, especially Rise, but the tone and characters lost a lot of the fun.

I definitely understand that feeling, sometimes I align with it and sometimes I don't. There's a fine line but I'm not sure where exactly it is.

I think a big part of the line for me is whether I get to play as the sexy character.

Think that’s part of why I couldn’t get into The Witcher 3.

There's a line of dialogue where the antagonists are asking 9S "You want to fuck 2B, don't you?" Which I felt was probably more for the player base than anything.

    • NoYouLogOff [he/him, they/them]
      ·

Fun fact, most languages the game is in keeps the word ambiguous as there's this whole context of androids having a libidinal reaction to violence and 9S becomes obsessive about 2B. It's a kind of cool moment because as a player you project your horniness on to the dialogue when said antagonist may have also said "You want to kill 2B, don't you?"
