That's literally lib shit. Hiding power level is types 1, 3, 6, 7, and 8 (and maybe 9) of liberalism.

Anyway, just rereading combat liberalism. That Mao was onto something.

Yeah I'm glad I never went down that path. I had a pretty realistic expectation of Bernie and viewed him as the harm reduction candidate.

I was excited because he was the first tiny crack in the ediface of neoliberalism that I have seen in my lifetime, and a chance to rebuild a class-based mass politics. I never thought he could or even would do a socialism

Oh yes, I agree, Bernie is actually good. But the concept that he (or anyone) is "hiding their power level" should not ever be seen as something hopeful or good.

Either it's untrue (most likely), or it is a sure sign of liberal brain; That is, "I have to compromise and agree in public with those who threaten the core concepts I believe in" is, as Mao says, liberalism. Not trying hard, not being honest and upfront, not calling people out, not confronting and correcting on the record those who have incorrect or harmful ideas every single time is a sign of this liberalism that destroys the movement - so it's not something to hope that someone is hiding their opinions.

BJG the posting queen was saying this as recently as this last week. "Bernie's retiring anyways so shouldn't he simply become politics Rambo and force the vote on $15 with no help at all?"

This is what happens to people who don't play sports, they never figure out trash talk.
