Exactly. Mission accomplished, now let's see how much donor money we can get away with.

    Because you are unimportant.

    Two facts that won't change:

-They are a bourgeois party, that is a party for the bourgeois and their interests.

-They have been salivating over the idea of moving far enough "to the center" aka right that they get a big enough chunk of Republicans that they can rule forever. That means more business for their top lobbyists, more corporate donations to the top officials and members, etc. This would also importantly entirely lock out even minor soc-dem reformists in the name of "sensible" neo-liberal politics that aren't quite as brutal as Republicans would like but do enough to favor the rich and gut and welfare that the capitalists won't mind unless they're personally brain poisoned by being an Evangelical or something similar and just have to have a culture war.

This is a joke right? Dems or Republicans all it means is what colour bowtie the all devouring vampire squid of capital is wearing. To think anything else is liberalism.

(Dont ask me how a squid wears a bow tie)

they only know what raises money. its not like they're actively trying to lose, but they are doing what boost fundraising #s, aka whats popular with upper middle class people who donate the most.

It's hilarious that Americans think they live in anything even vaguely resembling a democracy.

They do want a dang Cheeto in the White House. He's a fundraising gold mine, because now they have something to rally around without having to take any actual policy positions that might inconvenience the donor class.

Democracy for an insignificant minority, democracy for the rich— that is the democracy of capitalist society.

    1. They want to be outside of power complaining about how obscure rules and being out of power are really the reason they are unable to do anything for their voters.

    2. The Democratic party leadership are all so rich their economic interests are in the Republican party's economic agenda so it's in the Democratic party leadership's best economic interests to have Republicans ruling.

I would never vote for a candidate who doesn't want to legalize weed even if it was my own mom. I've decided it's too much work to keep up to date on everybody's platform all the time. So that's my stand-in issue because it's like the bare minimum helpful thing for the people who need the most help.

Biden/Harris can eat a dick but you do you.
