You think there's any practical difference between an idiot honestly saying something and idiot ironically saying the exact same thing?

Fuck that's deep. I'll just repeat what I said before then.

There is no legitimate authority in this country. Justice must be dealt out by those who would otherwise be victims.

The Black Panthers got it right. We take care of each other, but we take care of racists when they come after us.

We have to do that while at the same time dismantling the systems creating these conditions.

You must address the cause, but you also have to address the symptoms so they don’t literally kill you.

Oh ya, I don't disagree with you or your sentiment at all. I'm just pointing out this unpaid intern posting "as a proud liberal" ironically has the exact same societal effect as the person you argued with who earnestly posted it. Performative liberalism now turns into liberalism in the future.

The harvard lampoon have a long history of being liberal irony trolls @ 22 and growing into rightwing media oligarchs. The concept of 'trolling' is just a way of weaponizing that. At least the liberals @ harvard eventually get paid. Trolling for free is just cuckery.

I think you're using the words satire and irony interchangeably. Satire requires heightening and commentary. Irony-trolling is just word for word saying something an asshole would say with the subtext being /jk. That shit is dumb. Look at the old lampoon issues, its just the racist shit their parents were saying and they thought it was "pwning their dads" to put it in print and say they don't believe it. Nah they were just sharing it. It's like all the idiots trying to pwn someone with a retweet. Dummy you lost the second you retweeted it, that was their goal and you just raised their engagement.

It's just not as easy as "if its true and i enjoy saying it then it must be helpful" and thats the reasoning behind mainstream political satire.

At risk of being called a radlib: you shouldn't punch nazis for whatever dumb reason.

You should punch them because they're nazis.

Like racism is bad and all, but violence never leads to anything good, an eye for an eye leaves the whole world blind.

Why yes I'd vote for Obama a third time if I could, how could you tell?

My favorite part is the white guy is so sure there will be no consequences for his actions he doesn’t even consider preparing for retaliation.

Anyone who has been in a fight knows this is the quickest way to get knocked out.

If you’re going to provoke someone, be ready to fight. If you’re looking for a fight, it’s best to just start fighting.

I actually kinda liked that someone was trying to save his life after. Shows who has the moral highground. Also stops the puncher from being prosecuted for murder

Ah yes, the Terry. Entire diet consists over sugared tea, pints of beer and potatoes. Harass every living and non living thing. Honestly terrible when they come over to my country as tourists, still can't decide which is worse, them or the stereotypical American tourist.

then talks about how he is popular and they’re not because they’re black.

nothing screams "being popular" like harassing people for their ethnicity on the tube, then having people cheer to the fact that the people you were harassing knocked you out

I bet he had been talking shit for some time and I guess one of them he'd been talking down to said something like "One more thing and you'll find out", to this our racist here says "Go on" and well he went on.

He seems drunk too. Imagine getting pissed enough to where you're finally able to spout off your racist bs publicly and proudly and just waking up on a fucking floor moments after, wondering how it all went wrong.

Lmao, I love the older lady going “WELL DONE, GOOD FOR YOU!” like she just watched her grandchild use the potty for the first time, strangely wholesome.

Also of course the honkie isn’t wearing a mask lol
