Every time an American does something on reddit we should react the same way.

"Oh, an American playing flight simulator. Looks like they're learning to fly a drone to kill 1 million Iraqis "

An American commenting on chapo.chat? Looks like they're using their knowledge of computers to make a supercomputer out of PlayStation 5's and hack Russia.

(People actually said this about Saddam Hussein and playstation 2s lmao)

I was mostly around the chapo reddit, so this might just be my bias, but has reddit become even far more right wind lately? Like since the chapo ban, whenever I opended the front page to scroll through for five minutes it was toxic as hell. I guess one reason is that all the Biden libs get ready for imperial wars while the Trump base has always been racist and US politics overshadowing everything.

A lot of other people have noticed this so I don't think it's just you. Just about the only times I see anyone mention Chapo in the lefty subs, it's to make this observation. Myself, I thought it was just because I started reading history and theory and could spot it better.

Since the purge I notice how anti-protest the NYC and Seattle subreddits have suddenly become. I'm sure that's not a coincidence.

The massive anti-China propaganda campaign that was ramped up in earnest around January 2019 has been extremely successful

im sure part of it is correct the record 2.0 (like Russian bots but real) and some of it was bound to happen organically when people had been preaching vote blue no matter who for the past 2 years. Biden wins and you see them doubling down in favor of him, they've gotta convince themselves their liberal world view still makes sense, biden isn't a bad guy, he'll fix climate change, etc etc. That one democrat was talking about how badly Trump fucked up the coup, now a perfect storm for manufacturing consent on the only other super power that contests the US. There's so many reasons.

Oh my fucking god. People in there talking about like murdering 1.1 billion people and taking their scalps. Turns out americans are basically just as racist as they've ever been. Wow.

At least there's a fair bit of clapback

At least reddit banned all those "hate" communities. Oh wait, never mind...

Right?! I would have far preferred this to anything we did in PE in elementary school. Dodge ball? No fucking thank you. Basketball? Somehow even worse. Touch football? Kill me now please. About all I liked was playing with that giant parachute thing.

Maybe I would have if I'd been a more athletic kid, but sports were nothing but constant humiliation for me. I actually think my early experiences with PE being so fucking awful are a large part of the reason why I won't set foot in a gym now, even though I'd actually like to get fit and strong. I'm on testosterone and could build so much muscle mass it would be so dope! But the idea of physical activity, especially where other people might see me doing it, makes me want to curl up in a ball and cry.

Whoa, I love this game. Seriously, it teaches the kids that it's no problem if one can't make the balls jump high enough, as long as the others keep it up. We have games where we "shoot" Each other and the strongest wins.

Yeah, I went to a right wing private Christian School growing up and we played a similar game. This is a standard gym thing. There isn't anything insidious about kids bouncing a basketball and learning hand eye coordination. Also this video went viral because this specific group of kids is really good at it.
