Look no further than Maduro for proof of that. You think Clinton would have fucked that up? An American president who is too incompetent to execute foreign policy beyond playing dumb handshake dominance games is a net positive for the world.

Although canceling the Iran deal and withdrawing from the Paris Climate Agreement (weak as it was) were monumentally stupid and harmful decisions that other presidents may not have made

No argument there, except for the stipulation that Iran would be far better off with nuclear weapons. Even that may not matter in the end though, because imagine a world where nobody gives a shit what the US thinks any more. How many more countries are going to be inclined to put up with Israel's bullshit without the US backing them up on everything.

Honestly I think Iran will be fine now after their multi-billion dollar deal with China they made last week in return for oil.

Agreed, they were both shit but withdrawing from them is even worse. That would be probably be a good outcome (the world not giving a shit about the US anymore) but we are still far and away the planet's premier military power so I'm not sure how likely that is.

Kinda agree with this, on the other hand, I suspect if Trump gets reelected we're going full in on Iran. The guy needs a disaster in his second term that tops coronavirus. Iran's on deck.

I think Trump's too stupid to actually wield power and get results, which is why we're still in every middle eastern country he claimed to want to get out of. It doesn't help that the day after he finalized plans to remove 5,000 troops from Afghanistan we get "intelligence reports" about Russian bounties on US soldiers, and immediately the entire media is repeating that we need to stay in the region to counter "Russian influence".

Luckily with Biden, the CIA doesn't even need to plant false stories in the media to prevent us from pulling out, because he's expressed 0 interest in doing so, and in all likelihood would increase our presence there as well as South America and anywhere else there's a democratically elected government that needs toppling.

Yeah, Biden and Hillary are actually demons from hell in terms of their foreign policy records (and general politics records obviously) whereas Trump is worse domestically but is either too stupid or doesn't care much about big foreign policy plans.

By the way, if you didn't know, "critical support" means partial support because you're still critical of the efforts in some way. Critical as in a negative analysis of something.

Critical support is not really powerful support. It's not like a critical hit. It's not coming in at a critical moment. Critical here means less, not more.

Apparently some people don't know this.

As a gamer, a critical support is when you random do big numbers when healing or buffing.

But also it's great watching things you hate attack each other.

9/11 turned all liberals into hawks who love the three letter agencies and imperialism (well, those that weren’t already that). Look at them frothing their dicks about Mueller, a fucking lifelong republican fed.

The bird brained centrist types believe that despite having a few differences with their “friends across the aisle”, they’re all playing on the same team. Which is actually accurate, just not in the patriotic democratic sense they believe - they’re all on the same team of american exceptionalism, imperialism, and death march neoliberal capitalism.

My favorite thing about Trump is that he’s too dumb to property run the empire. He hates NATO not because it’s part of the imperial war machine but because he thinks it’s ripping us off.

Smarter people than me have pointed out that historically, the leadership of hegemonic empires become less and less competent over time. Trump is a great expression of that.

Think if he got reelected the CIA would smoke him if he continued ignoring them? Probably be more effective to just go behind his back somehow since he's a smooth brain though.
