Realised that shooting protesters results in getting shot back at and now they're too scared to do anything. The sudden realisation that they aren't willing to die for their ideology is setting in and they can see nobody around them wants to die either, demoralisation kicking in overtime as a result.

Contrary to fears, the shootings lowered the morale of the right. They're all online larp and no offline commitment. It's been an entertainment game to them up til now, and they're realising that it's not fun anymore.

yeah, we have breathing room right now to continue to distribute weapons and pull comrades into autonomous orgs and hold the self-defence line

chuds obviously figured out that our threats were credible tonight and cowered, or the feds / pigs tipped them off for no-go

Proudboys splitting off early is either evidence of absolute cowardice or “infiltration”, so I’m expecting to see a lot of infighting as this whole stupid “meme fascism alliance” collapses into millions of ruined lives and reputations destroyed as people realize that starting a fascist coup over repeated exposure to frog memes was in fact a bad idea

Lmfao this comment is perfect and too accurate.

I've been saying for a while now that the quantity of actual murder-you-fascists is absolutely TINY. People on the left have been conflating the state, the libs, the fascists, and the online meme crowd all as one giant blob. The situation is more nuanced. The libs aren't going to turn into fascists they like to live. The meme fascists aren't going to turn into shooters. The state is just totally predictable cop stuff so we can handle that. The REAL fascists are tiny in number. Even the militias don't ACTUALLY want a fight.

          People don't want to die.

They have learned that the left is actually still willing to show up even after getting shot at and that the left will respond with killing of its own. It's not a game and the commitment to the two ideologies is vastly different, the left out there are committed, the right out there are not. They haven't built any infrastructure. They're too decentralised. They've built anarcho-fascism and it simply does not work. Only the centralised, organised, multi year construction of fascist movements with youth training programs and a steady escalation work. This shit does not.

What's even better about this is that they're SO committed to their anarcho-fascism through their libertarian bullshit beliefs that they've harmed their ability to build mass centralised organisations because they've ingrained individualism and personal rights so hard into their movement. It's hilarious. They SHOULD be depressed because they've fucked up.

The only thing that concerns me is that there's a real potential for them to pivot into a religious cult instead via the Q shit. That has to be the primary target of struggle now, the libertarian fascism is dead in the water but they can probably build what they have into a zealous cult movement instead.

Hard agree, and the cult prediction in particular is spot-on. The proto-fash contingent is extremely ideologically united and will blindly accept the the "sermons" of anyone who exudes sufficient confidence and authority while also telling their audience exactly what they want to hear. It's a perfect storm for forming a cult-like movement, especially because their base is already far more susceptible to it.

Gotta nip that shit in the bud. Find the potential cult leaders and put a hard stop to them early by dismantling anything attractive about them. The only reason Q has worked so far is because there's literally no actual human being to dismantle, the audience imagines whoever they want Q to be.

GTA:SA is the best one. Tell me why I’m right.

Because it had the right amount of "travel distance" between the cities. Compare San Andreas in the PS2 version to the PS3-4-5 version/GTA5. It's night and day how much the draw-distance and map spacing/size helps.

I mean, shit: GTA5 didn't even have San Fran or Las Vegas in it, when GTA:SA basically was a shrunk down "major cities in the South West" style map.

Would be amazing though to see San Andreas at the full scale of GTA: 5. Plus I just like taking virtual road trips.

The Venture Brothers was a unique, one of a kind show. The fact that it took nerd pop culture- superhero comics, cartoons, pulp sci fi and fantasy, spy stories, ect.- and turned it into a story about failure is brilliant. The Venture Brothers is like the Sopranos in that it tells a story of America's decline and the ascent of its fail children, but using the images of the unrealized dreams of the Space Age and the visions of our future that never came to pass to do so. And it started before superhero films became the totally culturally dominant entertainment franchises that they are now, so it's kind of prescient that they used our stupid nerd bullshit to tell a story of cultural decline.

They also want to have people selected for it in the same style as Jury Duty, which is well known for being something that people love doing and never try to weasel out of
