Yeah from my admittedly very brief understanding of this bellend's car crash of a mid life crisis, Grimes sure seems like she went the whole 'I'm sure my love can fix them' route. Dunno much about her but I got some sympathy having seen friends believe the same about men and women who turned out to be irredemable bellends.

They were able to fix Pu Yi. I'm sure we could fix Grimes. Maybe not Elon though. But Elon is too much of a dipshit to actually cause problems once you take his wealth away so who knows.

I gathered that Pu Yi wasn't all that powerful among the royals so he didn't have as much to lose as someone like Elon

This is always good reminder that most famous artists suck for the same reason tech workers suck. They view themselves outside of their class structures, thinking that they have beaten the system and found the way out, when really they just serve as another way to reify the system and it's structures by pretending aesthetics has any value in the system.

I think that basing things off of 'genuiness' is as false a metric as 'authenticity' for art. I don't think it can be measured, which is what makes it special. Art alone is not revolutionary, but it can contribute or detriment to a vibe of revolution.

Although idk, I think what makes a serious revolutionary artist is a serious knowledge of history, but most artists, in my limited experience, tend to be too caught up in their own internal worlds (for better or worse) to be cognizant of their historical place.

by not becoming bourgeois. by not owning means of production. by not employing others to do the art for them. by not imagining themselves to have all the answers by virtue of their platform and the respect it commands. by not being reactionary or bigoted

Elon must have been really pissed because she used pronouns in her response tweet

I got curious and looked stuff up. She broke up with Chelsea Manning after a couple months. She still seems to be into the same kind of techno-mythology Musk peddles. Apparently she said in an interview in March that Musk had told her he thought she was a simulation created to be his perfect companion, and she agreed saying she did feel like maybe she was a simulation created for him. She also said, "I would probably refer to [Musk] as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid. We just have our own thing going on, and I don’t expect other people to understand it." So yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up getting back with the Joker like she always does.

I might have lost track of who we're talking about there for a bit but the point stands.

Plenty of people believe in truly bizarre things without being mentally ill. She'd be far from the first person in an abusive relationship that idolized her abuser.

Legitimately I think someone just needs to get her to watch Harley Quinn, and maybe give her a little nudge at certain parts of it.

She dated Chelsea Manning for a while so I assume much better.

New headcanon: She was already hooking up with Chelsea. Elon was cool with it but misgendered her, at which point this exchange took place and it was all downhill from there
