Because EVERYONE at my work uses Spotify instead of manually creating playlists, inhear it like 5 times a day because our work Spotify is an uroburous now. Mine are on a USB stick and I feel strongly about playlists coming from the making acrual mix tapes times.
I work in a pretty open kitchen, what we choose to put on is also for customers. It's a cool but tricky playlist

I think a big part of it is because is you go to a rock radio station in the year 2023, they’re still playing all that stuff from 2 decades ago, so even if you’re not actively trying to listen to it, it’ll still find its way to your ears
For me specifically it's probably cause it's the last time I listened to current mainstream music

They're pretty cool and it's mostly that main/intro riff that does it. The better version of that/3 Inches of blood in general is Painkiller by Judas Priest in my head. I'm not super familiar with 3 Inches of Blood but it always seemed like they were trying to redo that song but with fantasy lyrics.
For just riffs, which I'm usually super down with and have no problems with in my head unless noted:

Same cause of work. That us one of mine. Two jobs in a row I've had that be a 6 times a day repeat. I acrually think it's a sick jam but the repetition killed it.
I was a fry cook in a restaraunt that only played glam metal from the 80s. Completely killed my love for the genre.

The band should have ended if Richie Sambora left and fuck right off with that. I donr know who he is, but a guy who calls himself Phil X should feel blessed to spend a second on stage with those who have seen a mllion faces and rocked them all.

While we can agree to your first point, I must object to the denigration of the great Phil Xenedis. I used to watch him demo vintage guitars for Fretted Americana like every week. A major part of my development as a musician, I learned a lot from that guy.
I have no idea who he is but I'm certain that if he does guitar demos and names himself that he probably dresses like an asshole and has a super creepy vibe.
