A kinetic threat was indicated at the point of distribution of sausage biscuits, necessitating the tactical deployment of an armed unit so as to effect a defensive response posture and maintain the effectiveness of said sausage biscuit distribution. We are proud to have achieved this mission in collaboration with our corporate partners to catch and compromise any future threats upon the distribution of sausage biscuits to a permanent end.

Why does this feel more like an image from the Vietnam war protests

I never really thought of the difference between recent protest photos and ones from the 1960s and 70s. Compositionally that photo would have looked good in print so it would have been right at home in a newspaper or magazine of that era. In the old days low resolution black-and-white was only game in town for newspapers and color in magazines was - by today's standards - in shocking low resolution.

The photo is - cough - an arresting image and it almost has a staged appearance. That was perfectly suited for the old days. Ideally protagonists were absolutely as large as possible and they were static so there was no fuzziness or blur.

Why would Xi do this to an unarmed journalist if not to hide the fact that China is deeply authorit-

Wait, this happened in America? Uhh... The journalist didn't condemn Hamas between being hit and landing on the ground, we can only assume she's deeply antisemitic and if she is Jewish herself, then she's self hating.
