Yeah that's exactly what's happening. There are lot of very smart, well paid people whose job is to balance the degree of economic precarity the working class is in to keep the workers from gaining any power they could use for leverage. That's what's happening right now the rail strike being crushed, the massive tech layoffs, and the fed just fully mask-off saying it's going to fuck with the interest rates to raise unemployment.

They all read Marx. They know how labor power works.

Sometimes I feel like the machine doesn’t even want you to have the semblance of financial stability. Like as if there’s an incentive to keep people stressed and depressed knowing they’re barely making it each month.

That's exactly right. It's called precarity and is a feature of the system. Can't mount an effective defense of your rights if you're not sure where your next meal will come from.

How do we guarantee that donated blood is being used for a good cause and not sold for profit?

It's not that you shouldn't donate blood, it still saves lives.

If you don't want someone to profit from your lifesaving blood donation, your only option is overthrowing capitalism.

Holy shit I never even thought about that. "Oh donating blood is good. They're not allowed to sell blood anyway!"

No, of course they get their cut from the medical bills.

      Nope. Literal vampire capitalism.

Capital is dead labor, which, vampire-like, lives only by sucking living labor, and lives the more, the more labor it sucks literal vampire capitalism lmao

Some beta readers for my books, the ones that asked "Why do you hate the job creators so much?" :bootlicker: also found it unbelievable that the ruling class in my stories subsisted on the (genetically altered to suit them even better than in the present) blood of the enslaved underclass.

    Being a Cassandra sucks. :marx-goth:
