I think they are provoking us and intentionally doing stuff like this so much in our faces so that it will anger us and then mass protests will follow.

Pacifying the population by repeatedly pocking everyone with sharp sticks?

Does this normally work out well?

Then they can pull out their fash “law and order” rhetoric to crackdown on all left wing activism.

Left Wing Activism didn't exist twenty years ago. It was confined to the larger and more liberal cities a decade ago.

This is like fighting California wildfires with buckets of kerosene.

Hot take: the pigs who served the warrant are less guilty than the judge who signed it and the mayor and the realestate mogul who's behind the whole thing. https://www.courier-journal.com/story/news/crime/2020/07/05/lawyers-breonna-taylor-case-connected-gentrification-plan/5381352002/

Hahaha these fucking suck what are these going to do against a shieldwall? Useless tiny bucklers that will do fucking nothing against a shield wall and won't protect the cops from the incoming bricks.

The thing with shield walls is that a shield is a weapon, and a shield wall needs to be active and aggressive to hold it's ground. If someone walks up to the wall and just starts pulling on the shields and spraying pepper spray someone needs to be able and willing to smack them hard enough to lay them out, then walk the shield wall over them and crush them. It can't be static or stationery, or it can be pulled apart.

Concave shaped shields are designed for use in heavy shieldwall type fighting. Think the greek bowl and the roman trunk shaped ones. The flat shields used in northern europe were made for closing in and were ment to be disposable and not really ment for shieldwall smashing like in the movies.

No, circuits don't work that way, and the tasers are effective because they use a computer to time shocks in such a way that it forces your muscles to spasm so you can't move.

Wait, I meant you can't make clothes that shock people reliably. There are a couple of one-off proof of concept dresses for shocking grabby creeps in night clubs, but nothing you could really use in a scrum.

As far as defense, though, tasers are notoriously unreliable and if you can prevent one dart from embedding in skin you can often negate the taser. That means loose clothes, tight woven fabrics, leather, layers. That said, Cops only really use tasers when they don't feel threatened, so if they're tasing you they probably don't think you're able to run away or fight them.

If you have a lot of time, you can make them. Someone on twitter got someone to make stun-gun panties for them.

At least the States can spend more money on police equipment. This way, we can even use sweet sweet Bolivian lithium.
