If his hubris kills him in the upcoming weeks then this is going to be the most hilarious episode in modern politics.

Yeah i was about to say. He doesn't even sound like his usual self.

But god damn this clip makes it sound so much like he's encouraging people to go out even if theyre sick. Hell, thats the example hes trying to show as well. Im ready for a swift kick of karma to hit him.

I think it's as simple as he knows people thinking about COVID is bad for his re-election chances. He literally just wants people to forget about it and focus on the "roaring economy" or some shit.

It's entertaining that he's now referring to the virus by its real name instead of calling it the Chinese virus.

Odds on there being a chinese doctor in his medical team? I bet he's concerned about pissing off the people that are literally there to save his life even if there isn't one.

He's never going back into hospital, he's too much of an prideful idiot for that. He either somehow recovers or he dies in the white house.

I like the theory that they used the time he was at WR to prepare the White House to take care of him so he doesn't have to go back even if he is still dealing with covid.

Iirc Dexamethasone is usually a once daily drug, and scripts are written to taper off over the course of 2 weeks. But I have a feeling Trump might be one of those "I feel fine, why do I still need to take these drugs?" kind of guys, so hopefully he just collapses of acute adrenal failure one of these days soon.

From a Reddit comment - Herman Cain/coronavirus timeline:

    6/24: Attends Trump rally, maskless

    7/2: Tests positive for Covid-19

    7/10: Says he’s improving

7/15: Says his doctors seem happy

7/27: Says he’s really getting better

    7/30: Dies

If Trump makes a similar journey, his timeline would end on 11/1.

COVID also causes long lasting neurological difficulties, so we’ll get to see him hide both his increasingly deteriorating physical self, but also, well, I can’t quite imagine a more mentally deranged version of him, but I guess we’ll get to see that, too.
