Republicans will filibuster it, and Democrats will say they can't just scrap the filibuster and pass shit with a simple majority because what if that leads to Republicans playing hardball in the future???

I don’t think they need Manchin because Josh Hawley supports it.

Lindsey Graham claims to but I don’t buy it.

      We can't alienate moderate Republicans

We have to compromise with Republicans

      We can't abolish the filibuster

      Lieberman

      But Ted Kennedy died

      Its McConnell's fault

The youth just didn't turn out to vote

We need to keep the Supreme Court

Just vote in the next election

The President/Speaker/Senate Majority Leader is actually powerless, you know

Manchin <======= YOU ARE HERE ON THE DEMOCRATIC LITANY OF EXCUSES

      Its the Supreme Court's fault

Zoomer turnout is why the Republicans now have a Senate supermajority

They will always have the republican supreme court to blame.

And libs love compromise, bipartisanship and sucking up to the far right so lots of them will fall for bullshit like "We can't just stop putting children in cages, we need to reach across the aisle to reach a compromise if we are to heal the division in the American soul"

I find it easy to support the (slightly) lesser evil, especially in elections I can't personally vote in.

(When I do have a vote it's much harder because the internal struggle session of voting 3rd party or tactical voting for the lesser evil is constant and uncomfortable.)

guess people's predictions that the dems will never ever retake control were shit. power will always go back and forth between the parties.
