A lot of these cringe subreddits, very specifically cringetopia and its predecessor cringeanarchy have a culture that can be traced back to kiwifarms.
Kiwifarms is a forum dedicated to the stalking and harassment of people on the internet its users have deemed especially funny to harass. In practice, this usually results in them harassing transgender people, people with autism, and people who suffer from mental health problems. There have been cases where they've driven their targets to suicide, if I recall correctly.
That really tells you all you need to know, just some despicable shit. That reddit allows anything to do with that is extremely unsurprising.

The vast, vast majority. By and large, lesbians don't watch lesbian porn, not because we're like ~above that~ or some shit, but because its almost all wall to wall misogyny and fetishisation. The odd piece of content that is made for lesbians by lesbians (and you can always tell) tends to be made by independant people and hosted on smaller sites because of its apparently 'niche' audience, and so it is much more vulnerable to take downs and deletions - for instance in the tumblr purge or pornhubs recent wipe of indie stuff (although of course i do get that there were reasons for that one).
