Title, nothing has made me want to sit down and just kinda give up as much as this site has recently. Its just starting to feel like just any other leftist subreddit but with less bad takes. I do think this site can aim for higher and that can start with shifting the focus onto good things that anyone here can and should do, rather than focusing on reminder #99999 why we live in the bad timeline.

there are other things to effort post about than china you know, but even then I've seen plenty of effortposts that weren't dickish and went over just fine, and even then I doubt joey was banned for 'an effort post' but something antagonistic

usually the only obstacle to comms being made a thing is lack of people volunteering to moderate, so if you want this and are able, your comrades need your help!

depends how active and spicy it is, ranging from check in every couple days to :agony-immense: (I imagine) for sitemods
I'm 100% for this! I want to read about something going right for a change and as leftists we need to learn from the stuff that is actually working even if it is small.
In fairness: Defeat and doom has really taken a hold of reality. Not saying it'll be that way forever, but at least atm the foreseeable future really does just look pretty grim and depressing with little hope of change.
