It didn't use to be like this. Arafat visited India and was respected by everyone regardless of religion.

Hindutva-corporate media and BJP Social Media apparatus is responsible for this.

I also like how US flag is first because the list is alphabetized and it’s referred to as “America,” and also ‘Am’ is lower than ‘Al’ (as in Albania) in the alphabet, yet Albania is second on the list lol

The Israeli vs. Arab opinion of Indians isn't any different, so what's the problem? I don't think any ethnicity/race is less racist to Indians than another one, so that reasoning is bunk

Every Israeli/Russia/America reactionary simp in India should certainly be reeducated or minecrafted, but I don't see an inherent problem with this map. Although I will admit it probably reflects something (see below)

There's also the fact that this polling probably only reaches the richest and most reactionary parts of upper middle class India anyway, who are turbo reactionary and obsessed with Muslims

Alternatively, it's because social/history education in India is so bad (and is getting worse) that the poor classes (aka 90% of the country) are basically being brainwashed (keep in mind most of these people were illiterate 2 decades ago)

And a final point, although I admit this is probably not relevant; Palestinians benefit from their closeness to Europeans--if they weren't located in the Christian holy land then nobody would care (just like they do about the Rohingya)

The Igbo, one of the larger ethnic groups, have a “lost tribe” mythology with some apocalyptic Christian philosemitism thrown in. I think some have even converted to Judaism.

Nigeria has some weirdly strong bilateral ties with Israel due to significant Israeli investment in the 1960s up until ties were severed due to the Yom Kippur war.

I assume because of Boko Haram they're Islamophobic? I've seen a few Nigerians on r/Africa be pro israel because Hamas is "Jihadists"

Is the grey indicating no data or ambiguous opinion?

Using red to grey to green is a bad color decision.

something tells me opinion in Cuba and Iran and DPRK is not ambiguous, but that they didn't feel the need to poll people from those places

Japan has been going hard with massive protests against the Palestinian genocide. Thousands strong marches in Tokyo several times already which was somewhat surprising given how few Arabs or Israelis reside in their nation. It seemed like a young college-aged crowd from the videos I've seen so I'm not sure how widespread that sentiment is throughout the rest of the population.

There's also this hilarious recent clip of a Zionist woman screaming at Japanese crowd.
