She couldn't even wait til one week before the general election? Wouldn't make it any better, but at least symbolically hold his feet to the fire by withholding you support for a long as possible.

Everyone with 2 brain cells to rub together knows not voting D in the general gives the election to the Cult45 crowd who’ll fuck over the Palestinians way more.

That's the leverage. If Biden thinks that Trump is that bad, surely the rational choice from his side is to give in to some of the demands made by the uncommitted voter movement on Palestine to earn their votes. Like a ceasefire. One phone call to Israel and Netanyahu is all it would take. Ceasefire now, otherwise no more US support. Even Reagan, the farther of modern right wing US politics, did that in the past. Instead, Biden has chosen to continue arming the genocidal Israeli state. And large parts of uncommitted movement are unprepared to put any political pressure on Biden.

However the truth is that this is all political theatre, Biden doesn't actually think that Trump or the Republicans are an existential threat, which can be seen by his lack of urgency to address anything with regards to the moves Republicans are making. The USA is an effective one party state, with two factions.

Her explanation -- which I believe since she explicitly said that the genocide happened subsequently -- is that she didn't approve of the recognition of a genocide being used as a political football. She's a garbage liberal, but I don't think she was wrong there specifically.

Ties to Turkey. Omar had a private meeting with Erdogan in 2017, and some of his allies have contributed to her campaign. According to a report, the meeting ended with a request of support from Erdogan. Omar posted the report on her Twitter account before it was deleted.

President Erdoğan who thanked MP Ilhan Omar and the accompanying delegation especially praised the good leadership and reputation of the MPs for all the Muslims living in the United States. President Erdoğan asked MP Ilhan to be a voice for him and support her Turkish brothers and sisters.

So is the squad down to just Rashida Tlaib at this point or did she screw something up too?

She is being primaried by the same Uncle Ruckus as last time (Don Samuels). He's funded by right-wing "think" tanks and ideologues while he slaves like a stevedore in an attempt to hide those connections. It's kind of hard to do so, however, when everyone remembers Samuels' abortive attempts to voucherize the Minneapolis public schools (he also recommended "blowing up" the North High campus). So Omar is probably just flexing her "moderate, reasonable" chops to get some of that sweet DNC money. The PMC/lanyard types are always complaining about Omar being too "radical", so it's probably playing safe on her part to do this (especially because Samuels came close to beating her last time).

I was under the impression she was always a saudi shill? I remember she used to make sectarian comments against syria and iran. So im not surprised.
