You merely adopted being terminal online. I was born into It, molded by it. I didn’t touch grass until I was already a man

I've never listened to trueanon; could you please elaborate? Is the idea to just chill out to avoid making people wary?

Sort of. It's mostly encouraging leftists in general to avoid becoming so invested in either online politics or even actual theory that you're effectively detached from any sense of social normalcy.

Like, you can't really tactfully guide an open-minded person to socialism when you're using phrases like "Ilyenkov's apocalyptic cosmology".

I mean I kinda dabbled around with this sort of thing to a point, but I definitely never spoke a word of it cause I knew I didn't have things figured out. Still won't most of the time cause i still don't lol

I won't begrudge someone, especially not a young person, going through phases. Especially when they are hopping between existing trends and least of all when they have some humility about it like you do.

What bugs me about Haz here is that he started out with an existing trend, discarded it and declared himself a "mecha tankie" leading a new movement, then discarded that, and came up with whatever this shit is, all with the pretense of being some kind of popular Thought Leader (tm) for zoomers.

I struggle to compare this guy's attitude to that of any adult I've ever met except for one who was a clinically-diagnosed megalomaniac (who was further out there but much more consistent).

I didn't know very much that was even very interesting, I mostly knew him as a sex pest who trailed around after my (then-) girlfriend.

But I know he had this big "journal" where he wrote up all of his plans for how the Earth would more or less become a monument to him, with details on the statues and such. He put a lot of detail into it, but I forgot most of what I heard, and I heard all of that part second-hand. What I know of him from talking to him is that he was a very enthusiastic libertarian who cared surprisingly little about the survival of the planet that was supposed to house his monuments.

The one and only bit of credit I will give him is that last part, the anti-environmentalism, was trivially easy for me to argue him out of even as a liberal (which says something about his sincerity on that part).

Oh yeah, and he was also really tall, like maybe 6'10 as I remember it. I'm slightly tall and he towered over me, even though someone half my height could still push him around if they could tolerating touching him for long enough to shove him. It's a shame he didn't have a single athletic bone in his body, or he could have played basketball or something. He looked like if an incel took HGH continuously throughout puberty, except his face wasn't as long.

I think Haz's transitioning from a grifter who doesn't believe in his own bullshit to a true believer who believes in his own bullshit.

We found out some time ago that BMF is actually Edward Snowden. He started tweeting about cricket pizza and that gave it away.

It's wild that he's just doing free association and adopting whatever does well in the chat on his streams. Twitch has created a bunch of people who are now just glorified reinforcement learning algorithms.
