      To be fair, English has taken on so much foreign influences it is really an outlier in Germanic languages. And there is so much Norman French influences that a lot of French words are recognizable to English speakers. Resentiment? Nietzsche is just using all these strange French words, I resent this.

        Ye, for sure. The Normans did a hell of a number on English. Its family tree is all Germanic though

      Pretty much is. It's a garbage category that lumps white people from central/south America with indigenous people and everyone in between.
