I swear this is what it boils down to for like 70% of the vocal anti trans people I know.

They are mad about Bridget because now that she’s actually identifying as a girl and is not a dude pretending to be a girl they can’t jack off to her anymore and I will never for the life of me understand the mental hoops that requires or how these are the same people talking about trans people grooming

Please explain this kind of sexuality to me. :jesse-wtf: I just like what I like, what are these people smoking?

I really cannot man. If you go to the two best friends sub and look up any of the posts dunking on losers mad at bridget they can explain it better.

I think it’s the same thought process as “bro jobs aren’t gay”

              I just...

If being gay is bad, then isn't it better if she's a woman?

I imagine there are a lot of very rusty screws holding this ideology together. Maybe they're one of the LGB drop the T fash weirdos?

transphobes, too, contain multitudes. the femboy fetishists are specifically interested in what they view as the erotic transgression of a boy dressed as a girl. you'll find t girl chasers who, for similar reasons, only want trans women who haven't had bottom surgery. the point of the fetish is that it's "shameful."

At the risk of severely underestimating some brain worms, I think a huge component of the online whining about Bridget is bad faith attacks from people who are just transphobic and never actually had a psychosexual obsession with Femboy Bridget.

I don't have evidence but it feels that way.

Ironically, they will whine at actual femboys for them to stop.

Hell hath no fury like a conservative weirded out by something.

I think the original comic is ironic, cribs Kelly's style too much not to be.

My godfather - a very normal Irish Catholic guy who liked to fish and play board games and dressed/acted like everyone else - moved to the UK five years ago and become a trans-woman.

My tomboy college friend road motorcycles and spent ten years studying gekkos in the Australian Outback and ended up starting a farm with a couple of her boyfriends, but was otherwise as cis-het a person as you'll ever meet.

I mean, I've heard all kinds of shit. People generally tend to assume that whatever thing they are is the "real" sexual/gender expression and everyone else is just faking it. So you get some first/second wave feminists taking the stance that all straight sex is functionally rape (because who would ever voluntarily fuck a dude?!) and orthodox Christians insisting any violation of taboo is literally demonic possession and trans-folks bucketing virtually every cis-person they meet as either chaser or egg.

"You're an X and you just don't realize it yet" is a very routine sentiment, particularly from people who have just come out of the closet.

              What is bucketing?

Categorization. Like, everyone is either one or the other.

              feels extremely racially motivated

Maybe. However hard white LGBT people have it, PoC always seem to have it worse.

But, at some level, its worth remembering that this is a thing other people are going through and they're just projecting it.

Is the "tomboy respecter" an edit? Looks too tryhard "actually a cool normal guy" to be a :kelly: character.

Pretty sure this is a Yolo Swag Studios comic. They’re like the zoomer Kelly and take a lot of inspiration from him

I saw a version of this meme where the girl was French and she was being brainwashed into thinking she was Latin by the Italians while the guy crying at the window was like vercingetorix or some shit. Decolonize... France Gaul?

Right wing conservative / christian cartoon propaganda is always so ham fisted, it always reminds me of the bull-in-a-china-shop literary analysis of my high school english teachers talking "allegory" when we had required reading. Like movie clips of trains going into tunnels.
