I don't feel the instinct to look for reasons to downbear people here like I did on reddit. It's a better place.

Well don't worry it's back and people are comparing vaginal and penile circumcision all over again!

Essentially the dudes think that penile circumcision robs men of sexual pleasure on par with vaginal circumcision which literally removes the clitoris. I simply can't deal with that shit.

Oh I know. I have had them try to show me that actually missing your clitoris isn't NEARLY as bad as you think! I wouldn't know, I don't fucking have one, but I SUSPECT IT IS.

Doesn't the clitoris have the same amount of nerve endings as the whole head of the penis? I'm pretty sure the science is on your side here

If penile circumcision involved removing the entire head of the penis, I'd be pretty willing to draw a parallel here.

I think that even if it didn't it might be insensitive to claim that having your foreskin removed is on par with literally not having a clitoris, in point of fact. Y'know, my earlobes don't have a lot of nerve endings but it would still piss me off to have them cut off, but I'm not going to try to swap war stories with the guy who lost both his legs.

That is one interesting thing I've found about Chapo. Arguably, when a bunch of people with the same values get together, it should be a polarizing circlejerk. But on the other hand, when we share basically the same values, it allows for more nuance than when we have to worry about right-wingers around. You can "give an inch" without worrying that the other person will take a mile. Also, the disagreements tend to be on the level of how we achieve our goals, as opposed to what those goals are.

Hey Chapo put itself back together again with good moral as their main philosophy!

Actually they have three main philosophies.

      having good morals

      shitposting

      struggle sessions

Not enough yet, but they'll find us again. As we keep growing and become noticeable, not to mention as we grow we'll become really viable as reddit alternative and could start catching more left subs as they almost certainly will continue to be pruned

Every day chapos from the sub find their way home :)

            Exploited labor? How dare they!

I'm alright. Juggling a lot of projects right now, always feels like I'm falling behind on the important ones. Still making progress and chipping away at things though.

Hey that's great! Proud of you for that, making progress at all when you've got lots of plates spinning can be impossible sometimes, so that's a win for me :)

They the fun kinds of projects you chose to do that you can talk about? or the shitty kind :C

They're all stuff I chose to do. I'm self-employed; I have to make some money on some things, but I can also take some projects that aren't profitable.

But I maintain multiple identities, so I can't talk about all of them here. The only one so far that I'm linking to this identity is making a new political compass style test that acknowledges lefty politics.
