/r/news is a million times more receptive to hard left rhetoric than /r/politics and IMO it's still worth agitating there

The number of Redditors who think it's OK to murder someone because "they're high on drugs" is rage-inducing.

Remember that time Elizabeth Warren lied about being native for decades and decades and then had a dna test proving how much of a liar she is?

My least favorite thing about leftism is how it made me realize almost everyone I know IRL has such a fucked up worldview.

For me its when people just completely disregard the upstream conditions of the supply chains that provide their products. It's not like I have an expectation for people to change their purchase habits, but I've found people completely resistant to the notion that being conscious of the supply chain is worth considering. They'd just consciously prefer to pretend like products are these magical things that appear for their consumptive pleasure.

One time I was permanently banned from reddit for doxxing after I posted screenshots of an armed middle school rent-a-cop's facebook timeline in which he said that all jews should die

What would tik tok even do with user data that's worse than what american companies would do? I'm genuinely ignorant, what is even the argument besides "China bad?"

Someone gave me gold for a comment where I told another user who said they’d have given me gold if they could afford it that I was happier they didn’t because I didn’t want to give reddit money. 🤦🏻‍♀️

There’s probably a better way to word this that’s easier to follow.

I'm trying to quit drinking, if not permanently at least for the month which would be the longest I've ever gone. Time is taking forever to go by and I'm almost afraid to do anything besides sit in my apartment because I always rationalize buying more booze as a reward for doing simple stuff like just getting out of the house to get groceries. It's been extremely lonely and I don't feel like myself even though I don't feel better.

It is hard to quit on your own comrade. I have managed to stay sober for 3 months by taking things one day at a time. I don't think about tomorrow, i just tell myself that I'm not drinking TODAY.

The internet has taught me that you can talk whatever nonsense you want about things you don't understand as long as you mention the word "nuance."

liberals wave their wand and say "I cast...Nuance!" and next thing you know fascists are in charge and 1 in 11 americans are about to be homeless and the planet's cooking
