I just got it and took about 10 minutes getting to the battle tutorial because I had to run around and interact with everything I could. Gotta hand it to you for how thorough you were with the flavor text. Also as others have said I like your writing. No bugs yet so far, I've done playtesting so I tend to go into games looking for ways to break them I'll let you know if I spot anything.
I love that it ranges from short but evocative descriptions of what's on someone's shelves and then you walk up to a painting and it just says "Slug"
IDK but I chuckled at that, it's my sort of dry sense of humor I guess.

As far as Linux goes you're already golden. Running it through Proton in Steam works perfectly—I'm running it on NixOS so I assume other Linux distros too will work out of the box.

I had the chance to play some of it finally and I agree. It's a very pleasant experience. But the combo inputs have me resonating with the line, "I know enough about this game to know I'm not good at it." Great stuff, Goadstool. I look forward to playing more.

30 minutes in and it's exactly what I'd hoped for! Adorable, with great music and visuals with a curiously addictive gameplay. It's harder than I anticipated; I haven't gotten above a C on any of the moves! Enjoying it thus far, looking forward to watching the story unfold. Slug.
