Trump winning is good for accelerating America in the long term but would be worse for leftists now. Libs would absolutely blame everyone left of Obama for letting the god dang cheeto back in to the friggin white house and will go full anticom, which will be enabled by the right for obvious reason.
The left will never be allowed any meaningful action within the democratic party unless backed by very angry citizens with the implication of force (not just votes) that disruptions will occur until demands are met (imagine George Floyd Riots again but even more angry and pissed off telling the dems to fuck off would be needed).

But so long as we're picking fights with the World's Largest Exporter and Europe's Largest Energy Supplier, we're going to keep running into shortages no matter how much money is or isn't in the financial system.
