This is a good effortpost post on wrecker behavior, specifically with this comment thread about how people posting over-the-top rhetoric is a known technique to doxx people:

https://hexbear.net/post/207585/comment/2620058

For example, one reason someone might be asking for links to 3D printable gun resources is not because they want to be able to use them, but because they want to know who on this site is using which services in particular, so future efforts can be focused to relevant communities with overlap in users. It’s social mapping.

I also wanted to share this piece by Lenin on adventurism:

https://www.marxists.org/archive/lenin/works/1902/sep/01.htm

TLDR is that when someone is advocating for adventurist violence, not engage. Report and move on. At most, call them a fed. If anyone is confused by this, ask for an explanation in the megathread after the ban hammer falls and people will be happy to link you some reading or give you a basic explanation

Nice reminder that maybe constantly posting about killing people isn't a healthy or constructive activity anyway and allowed someone like this to easily blend in until they started advocating torture and sharing gun printing resources.

Nobody needs a 3d printer here dumbasses. Power infrastructure that isn't buried underground like in sane countries can be taken down with a metal wire tied to a rock. Beating fascists works best with a hard stick and a shield. Anyone can buy a pressure oven. 3d printing a gun isn't really necessary at all but if it were then it would be done through a party by people designated for weaponsmithing for the revolutionary army.

If any of the left were to do any of this shit it would be through a party and you are wasting your damn time thinking any of it is going to happen stochastically. Dumbass feds go monitor the people that actually take part in stochastic terrorism.

we should be creating viruses that randomly google "how to redact my political opponents" and seed them on pro-chud websites

it'll red-flag a bunch of chuds, and make the intelligence panopticon do more work

and by "we" I mean not me because I'm way too dumb for that, also this entire post is fictitious

It’s funny because parallel to the lines there are often other cables which are buried and run parallel to them

I think islamic groups would claim them if they started them. Recruiting, promoting others in the country to do such attacks and to make the state spend enormous sums of money on trying to prevent future such attacks.

My fed person was so sus when commenting, they kept trying to link everything bad in the world back to religion like we're a bunch of edgelord atheist godless commies or something. When I complained that someone was a Oxford economics educated neoliberal, they hyperfocused on Oxford being a traditionally Christian university, and not the neoliberal economics part lmao. So I stopped replying.

Also apparently they tried to invite people to a matrix or discord after blatant fedposting and calls to violence lmaoooo, HAWKS, FBI or CIA informants pls get better material.

ok weird and kinda off topic: so is anti-religion posting a thing thing or is it a brainworm? or is it the news is saying "leftists want to attack and dethrone god" so when ppl want to be left (or are feds etc) they lean into hating church etc? i just learned about it so maybe i'm just seeing it everywhere

I mean I'm an atheist personally, but the attack and dethrone god stuff is mainly ironic jokes, or aimed at reactionary beliefs promoted by certain religious sects.

And I'm 100% supportive of any religious comrades as long as they're fine with me being bisexual, not racist/sexist, etc.

Anti religion posting only becomes a brainworm when you sound like an edgy internet atheist from r/atheism on Reddit or something.

yeah i see what you're saying. i'm more using the "attack and dethrone god" as a shorthand and cause it's a good meme. i shoulda clarified that i'm an atheist too.

i'm not trying to concern troll for/like christian conservatives it's more that hating religion is a way to make leftism reactionary(?). Sorta becomes a form of toxic masculinity posting and like being really mad about that kinda prevents them from having to do internal work or understand theory (not that i think you'd actually need theory to avoid this.)

as i type this it feels more and more like i'm thinking of one specific interaction and being like "Wow! This new trend needs to be examined."

Historically, socialist states have treated religious organizations harshly, and there's a Marx quote that goes something like "Communism begins where Atheism begins".

The western left these days dislikes religious organizations exercising political power over other groups (like Christian Dominionists banning abortion in the US, for instance), and this could be misinterpreted as being anti-religion in general. This is most-likely the source of the "attack and dethrone god" talking point.

Additionally, I imagine a majority of western leftists would identify as some sort of atheist.

To be fair they were discussing making agitprop, not doing anything violent. Separate posts. That’s part of why I said a lot of the comments weren’t suspicious on their own

3D printing a gun seems like a lot of work in the United States where you can just buy one
