Fuck McDonalds. Literally every other fast food joint other than them and In-n-Out are adding vegan options, but McDonalds is going against this trend.
Which is weird cause all McDonalds food just tastes like McDonalds. Their beef patties don't taste like beef, they taste like McDonalds. I remember. There is absolutely no fucking way with the resources they have they can't make a fake burger taste like a fake burger.
They suck. Weirdly Wendy's square strange burgers are the best, but really it baffles me that mcdonalds has the least beef like burgers yet enjoys it's ubiquitous popularity. Truly just boomer comfort blanket food.
In America, they put beef extract IN THE FRIES. And also all of our fast food places love to add a (usually) lame no-effort vegan option and then get rid of of it a few months later cause line didn't go up enough.
Oh yes I recall they got a veggie burger option before even the whole beyond/impossible stuff came out. I got it and it was really bad lol. Has the recipe changed?
Never tried that, but the Impossible Burger... just tastes like all the toppings and condiments, same as the beef burger. Nothing about the meat is important to this meal. The cow died for nothing.

I thought they were testing vegan nuggs in the UK or something? Either way, holy shit are they way behind literally everyone else.

its ground beef with a little black pepper and salt and a lot of onion powder
They tried out a "McPlant" burger in a few places years ago but abandoned it.

Burger King got a meatless option before them, and Burger King famously sucks

Wait for real do McD's fries have beef extract in them?
