    I couldn't stand the thought of someone being nostalgic for a generation where two of the three are a hair away from being AMD APU-based PCs running weird operating systems. We need to ret-five-urn to tradition (All consoles being bespoke hardware with significant mutual incompatibilities and odd achille's heels with regards to different aspects of the rendering pipeline)

        You could fit over three million 6502s in the PS5 CPU's transistor count, yet modern games are not three million times better than the classics. Capitalist inefficiency at work.

    The fact that our capitalist overlords have just decided to forgo any pretense and market actually addictive games and apps to children is unironically one of the many reasons I'll probably decide not to have children. It's a tiny reason next to climate change and everything else but it adds up.
