At first I was like "unions are good" but then I saw the dog turntable animation on that page and basically I'm anti-union now

It seems amazing to me that "but union dues costs you money" is the only talking point that companies use to convince people that unions are bad for them. Aside from straight on threats.

Guess it’s a relatively successful tactic when you’re barely paying people in the first place. “You can barely afford shit, I know I sign your checks”

Presumably you don't make much. A working class wage, no real control over your workplace, no future that isn't handed to you by your betters like you're their dog. And yet you choose to do this. You wake up, make the conscious decision to stay awake, and go to work to betray everyone like you. Your neighbours, probably your family, the innocent suffering people you depend on for whatever enables your comforts. You. Betray. Them. You're not only a class traitor, not only an uncle tom for a billionaire who hates his employees, but I've sat here for ten minutes trying to think of a way to describe you and the only word that sticks out is inhuman. You have chosen to become a monster and I hope, sincerely, that your actions boomerang and ruin your life. I hope you suffer the same precarity as those warehouse workers you're stabbing in the back and if your life's work is bringing down everyone around you then who will intervene to save you when that happens? Hopefully no one, including your children if they have any shame for what their parent has become.

Do better. Be better. Don't do this job and hurt everyone in your position. It's disgusting.

I really need to figure out the legal limits on words. There has to be a happy middle ground where you won't be arrested for saying the thing that breaks someone.

This pasta is peak victim blaming, what in the actual fuck. Oh wait is this talking about scabs? Nvm

2nd edit: I originally thought the pasta was from the website rather than a response to it. Calling the dues-payers and union supporters class traitors for putting the scabs' livelihoods at risk.

Oh no, that's what I sent to the scab. They're a class traitor and deserve the social consequences of their betrayal. If this was a mine they'd be escorted under armed guard to save them from their victims.

Gotta automate the form filling somehow.

Or, message them, and when you hear from someone start talking about how your pay went up and you got more bathroom breaks, but you liked it the way it was because you're a masochist and daddy Bezos was your dommy mommy.

(But for real, I'll bet the people responding to this could use a union too lol)

My write in response was about how the people reading this could unionize too. That’s the best way I can think of to get the submissions shut down ASAP

Not to go all learn2code, but this is a pretty easy task in python and I'm happy to give advice to someone who wants to learn to code by spamming anti union forms.

If your union isn't getting you more value in terms of higher wages and/or additional benefits than the dues you pay, something's gone horribly wrong.

Yeah unions literally wouldn’t exist if they didn’t work. Nobody wants less for their labor

when i was a kid, grocery store unions had mandatory dues and the store only paid minimum wage to courtesy clerks. maybe it was better for the higher ups, but yeah, good way to instill anti-union sentiment in the minds of impressionable youths.

I came into work late last night to find two of our younger workers talking about forming a union.

Sebastian and Roland were cuddled up on the couch, watching the Leafs/ Sens game. By the end of the second period, Roland wore a concerned look on his face.

    "What's wrong?" inquired Sebastian?

"Well, Matthews scored 4 goals in his first ever NHL game." Sebastian nodded as Roland continued, "Do you think you'll score in your first game tomorrow?"

"Well," replied Sebastan in a soothing tone, "scripture tells us 'Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries of it's own.' Forget about tomorrow, because I can tell you one thing: we're going to score tonight.

Roland's concern turned to confusion. "Wh-what?"

"I may come off as a shy, innocent Finnish boy, but let me tell you, I am A Ho. And I can promise you this: Imma finish tonight, boy." And he took Roland in a manly fashion.

    Pasta Time

    In. Out.

    Huffing. Puffing.

    "Oh... Yes..."

The room was as hot and sweaty as it was dark. You could almost taste the sweat coming off their backs.

"Yes, Anakin, come closer..." moaned Sheev. "Good, Anakin, good."

"I love you, Sheev." groaned Anakin, breathing heavily.

"I love you too, Anakin. More than I love Democracy and the Republic."

Anakin began to pound the old man even harder. "Now THIS is podracing!"

"You should try spinning, that's a good trick!"

Before Anakin could follow Sheev's suggestion, Obi-Wan came crashing down on top of him, stuck his weapon in, and started pounding away. "It's over Anakin! I have the high ground."

"Not if anything to say about it I have!" shouted Yoda as he leapt on top of Obi-Wan from the ceiling, ramming his twelve inches of olive-green steel into the bearded Jedi's tight hyperdrive ring.

Several hot, sweaty, loud minutes passed, before the four men screamed out in ecstasy, and were suddenly silent. They squirted their midi-chlorian-rich man nectar™ into one another's rectums, then rolled over onto the large, silk-sheeted bed, panting heavily.

Suddenly, a figure appeared in the doorway. It was Mace Windu, wearing nothing but a towel. "In the name of the Galactic Senate of the Repub... oh come on, don't tell me I missed it again!" he whined.

Sheev, still catching his breath from the raucous sex that he'd just had, flolloped over on to his side to face him. "Master Windu. I take it you're here for the orgy. I must say you're here later than expected..."

Still slightly cum-drunk, Anakin rolled over lazily, before calmly declaring "This party's over."

    THE END.

Sheer projection from a user named "opposide", and especially someone attempting to commandeer an angry mob of alienated kids with the purpose of brigading, an unethical practice which has brought so much destruction and toxicity in so many communities.
