I might be remembering wrong but ye he openly opposed it, he's basically a kind of eco-fascist.
The people he targeted with bombs are not even good fucking targets, for the most part they were just working people.
EDIT: I checked and his victims were for the most part teachers and students, potentially innocent people on an airplane, the only "good" ones are like an airline executive or some advertising company's CEO. It's pointless larping.

That's a bit misleading, because that wasn't the only thing. There was lots of other things too, such as for example being involved in a CIA adjacent psychological torture experiment when he was barely an adult...

He's an intelligent guy unlike a lot of an Ecofacists and I would totally be ok with some sort of intelligent discourse with him, but that's basically it. Maybe it's because of shit like the MKUltra torture or whatever but a lot of the solutions and ideas he brings forth are completely warped away from any morals even if well argued.
Fair point. I don't particularly love greta, she mostly seems to be a young lib that became a media scape-goat. I originally read this post and thought it was confirmed (and not blogger rumors) so I still thought it was disturbing, because she still has a lot of influence in the eco-lib circles.

In college, I was working at my computer in my dorm room and it was kind of chilly so I had my hood up on my grey hoodie. A floormate came to my door and I looked over from under my hood in an apparently suspicious way, so she started calling me "Unabomber," which quickly shifted to "Bomber." So I had a cool nickname for the first time in my life . . . and then about 2 weeks later, 9/11 happened and my cool nickname was dead.

My favorite factoid about the Unabomber is that he was somewhat well known around the Montana town he lived near, as he sometimes came in for groceries and volunteered at the library. The FBI interviewed a bunch of town residents about why they didn't feel suspicious about this weirdo living in a cabin by himself in the wood and being a creepy recluse. The people in the town were like "Uh this is a town in the middle of nowhere Montana, that sort of lifestyle isn't unusual around here, it's sorta WHY people move here".
