We're not going to have coal mines, but if the local Worker's Council and Party Cadre want me to move the heavy drill equipment as part of the project to convert fossil fuel power plants into geothermal plants, or mop the floors at the nuclear power plant or whatever, that's cool.
Xi also did this during the poverty alleviation program. He made all the party members actually go out into the poverty strikes areas and stay with assigned families to better understand their needs and represent their interests.
And by he, I mean this was a decision of the NPC.
I've never met a self described communist with an earnest belief in astrology. It's almost always radlibs
sorry your test gave you a "bad" personality or whatever, but, again, an inventory of questions about your behavior is a better indicator/predicator of your future behavior, than the fucking orbit of the stars.
both are fucking stupid
at least astrology doesn't appear scientific enough to fool people into thinking it's legitimate
Reactionaries will post this as an own, but like I would think it is a cool and good thing if someone walked up to me and said "You have a bullshit job, it would be a service to your community to train as an [XYZ Occupation]."
yeah like, coal extraction is evil, but there are large parts of the country that are mired in poverty because the coal jobs they previously relied on just disappeared decades ago and nothing replaced them. how anyone could look at that and think "this is why central planning is bad" is beyond me
The same people will believe all the propaganda about coal miner jobs pushed by the energy lobby.
Money was allocated for retraining the unemployed coal miners a long time ago.
None of it ever reached them.
Wow I would hate to be forced to undertake a shitty job that sucks, anyway my rent is due and all but one of my job applications got rejected
Why is it always coal miners? Lol. There are 3 times as many college professors as there are coal miners in the US. 30 times as many software engineers as coal miners. Like even assuming a completely random assignment of jobs, the chances of a person becoming a coal miners is miniscule.
The assumption is a communist America would magically poof into 1930s Soviet technology and aesthetics
The only time when the USSR actually resorted to directly assigning jobs was during WWII.
Arby's employs more people than the entire coal industry in the US, and that includes office workers and management not just miners
Once we achieve communism we shift 90 percent of the economy to mining coal so we can put it all in a big pile and burn it
i literally became a communist because of backbreaking blue collar labor, which i still do
This is only a gotcha because this person is imagining american mining conditions. :cope:
communists when they pee pee poo poo instead of being put in the infinite cum machine they all believe in
communism is what we have now, but every street corner has an infinite cum machine
Who could forget that time in history when Mao Zedong rallied a bunch of dyed-hair liberal arts majors and somehow defeated the Nationalists?
I could see that happening in america, if the blue-haired among us got armed.
I would love to do manual labor under a political regime that actually regulated economic activity for my safety and end benefit. Like fuck all I want to do is farm work but not die from it because the hours are so shit and healthcare is unattainable
Does the coal mine come with a fantastic pension? profit sharing? All expenses paid healthcare? Safe working conditions? Immense amounts of time off and work life balance? ...you know, things that they say are communist?
Doesn't sound so bad to me.
