The sentiment that everybody you don't like is a foreign agent is a symptom of a very rotten society.

Many people claiming it may be a symptom of a rotten society, but many people actually believing it is a symptom of irreparable stupidity (yes libs, I know you're reading this)

It's really funny because nearly everyone hates 'the government', but when you suggest that maybe the system itself is also to blame, you're suddenly a 'foreign agitator'

Never said it did. They're two unrelated things. Which is why i don't understand why voting for the "lesser of two evils" means i support them, or capitalism in any way.

This whole argument feels like the old "if you're a communist, why do you have a phone?" thing all over again.

Unless you're planning on starting a revolution tomorrow, i'm still subject to whatever the policies the people in power install, so i'd rather pick the one that harms me and the people i care about the least.

Though i'm not sure why i bother arguing. You people just want to feel superior for doing nothing.

There are people on this site that did more praxis in the past year alone than every vote you could cast in your entire lifetime. Please do not presume to think we "do nothing" just because the only political action you can imagine is voting once every two years.

And you have the audacity to accuse us of "wanting to feel superior" just because you are defensive of your willful ignorance.

No investigation no right to speak.

America is so free that you can even be a communist however it's impossible that you would be far left if you are not a foreign agent and therefore you are punishable by death for infiltrating the country

Doesn't the average US citizen not vote or vote for a minor party candidate in most presidential elections?

I think a plurality don't vote, which isn't quite as dire but still pretty grim in terms of popular participation

During the 2022 midterms only 52.2% of the eligible population actually voted, meaning roughly 26% of the population in either bourgeoise political party determine the course of political economical development of the entire nation, which means roughly 65-70 million voting-age Americans out of 333 million total americans plus other non-citizen residents

Is this image from the recent bizarre turn into promoting Russian esports?

The apotheosis of Russian esports is super delayed considering their CS and DOTA skills are legendary. The announcements were so goofy too, you've got to love it.

Plus haven’t most of the Russian players been vocal about not supporting the war? Lmao. They’re punishing people who support their cause just because ruzzia

IDK you're gonna have to relay the gaming journalism about "RuZZians joining army esports team because they don't want to fight for Donbas" to me, not aware

Honestly, there being some variety in who gets pandered to in esport titles would be nice. Fighting games need fewer pop-idol catgirls* and more squat-dancing bearmen. Zangief can only hold down the fort for so long, and no Beowulf doesn't count.

*you, the person reading this, can be a catgirl and that's just fine. Personal catgirl practices are very different from their depiction in media

I think the military promotion of esports is long overdue from the Russian higher-ups and it clocks in with their cyber culture being a bit delayed on some things (like their particular variety of Redditor-esque reactionary cringe pandering compared to Ukraine which has been called "2014 neckbeard posting vs 2022 combatfootage psychopath posting" and it tracks for me) and ahead on others such as piracy

Liberals will never accept that even if Russia, China, and Iran did not exist at all, people would still think this government is flopping hard right now.
