They forgot to mention the Daily Planet is also owned by Lex Luthor.

(I know nothing about DC comics but, that had to be a plot point at one point or another in one of their universes).

Idk, but the real life equivalent to the Daily Planet is owned by the real life equivalent of Lex Luthor.

The tv show Superman and Lois starts off with this, using the rich guy who in the comics buys the Planet and makes it Galaxy Broadcasting, and having him not let Lois publish about how his "rejuvination" schemes for the rustbelt are destroying these places further and abusing peoples desperation. So she quits and works for a Smallville paper that is literally just edited and written by one 20-something.

Lois is always great, but has to be one of the best portrayals

Our hearts go out to the people of Palestine. It pains us deeply to say this, but while we would never endorse Harris, everyone must vote for her to stop Trump, only because he presents a unique, existential threat. Rest assured we will be working tirelessly night and day to pressure her to stop the genocide in Gaza, but the only hope of the situation improving is if we get someone marginally more sympathetic into office first.

    ...Did the leftists leave yet?

WOO KAMALA!!! U-S-A U-S-A U-S-A!!! WE LOVE YOU!!! DICK CHENEY DID NOTHING WRONG!!!

Kamala is Superman now? I'll give libs thinking Trump is Lex Luthor because they have scared themselves into believing Donald Trump of all people is smart or capable. The amount they over estimate this elderly nincompoop is genuinely insane.

Kamala also isn't fucking Superman cause Superman goes around doing good and helpful stuff. Superman would also fucking never run for president and being from not even earth kinds disqualifies him but that's beside the point. The fundamental metaphor of Superman is that he as one dude embodies what we could all accomplish together, the guy has said so pretty blatantly on many occasions. Aside from when they bring aliens into it and whatever (it's superman, he'd fomr everything so I'm going for core character here), if we got our shit together superman wouldn't be necessary. Maybe to save some cats stuck in trees cause flying or whatever but you get it.

Yeah, I was trying to explain to someone that Harris, as a reasonably smart and competent cop, has far more potential to cause harm than Trump could dream of. She actually knows how the US's police state functions, speaks cop, and can presumably wield it more effectively than Obama, Trump, or Biden. She's also, like, relatively young and in good cognitive health.

Re: Aliens lol isn't her border policy something like "kill them all and let god sort them out?"

You reminded me of the town hall where newsy Steve martin asked her about whether they need a border wall and the discussion went something like: 'trump was bad at it.' 'But do we need it' 'Democrats are better at building it. Remember how much of a liar Trump is?'

would it shock you to know that there are some democrats who are excited about copmala and others who are holding their nose and voting for her?

do you get that there is more than one opinion among democrats?

No. There is one belief, only one, among democrats. America is holy. It cannot fail, only be failed. The democrats are it's high priests, it's holy stewards. They must be supported absolutely, and never opposed. They express this belief in several ways, but it is only one belief.
