Also accuses us of getting "offended at anyone, for any reason." Literally indistinguishable from a chud.

Accusing our trans users of not actually being trans is some mega transphobia

Also we've been a trans space for waaay longer then we've been federated for, sooooo

We are 2.5 years older than 95% of all the Reddit clone instances, yet they have the audacity to moan about us “ruining their communities” or whatever.

Like, you’re the one that barged in like you owned the place and took a hot steaming shit in the living room

When R*ddit sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing stale memes. They're bringing cringe. They're transphobes. And some, I assume, are good people.

mega transphobia is putting it lightly. this is erasure. that's stooping to such lows that i would never dream of - fuck that instance and all it stands for but i would NEVER do the same to them.

      disgusting.

this definitely isn't more or less the exact argument transphobes make to try and take our rights away but with an extra level of online poisioning

It's literally that, it's so fucking obvious I don't understand how someone can say something like that on that instance and not catch a ban. Turning a blind eye is a common reflex for libs.

The fact this person uses the word "whiteknight" tells me they're a right wing shit bag agitator. They're the only fuckos that use the word, typically alongside outdated bangers like "snowflake" and "sjw" but this one is trying (and failing) to mask.

Will blahaj recognise that and do anything about it? Fuck no they won't, because anticommunism is more important to them than trans people even if it means fascising online spaces.

    • ShimmeringKoi [comrade/them]

"Simp" usurped whiteknight years ago as the right wing word for respecting people, this one must be so noxious that they had no friends to update them on it

Using a made up percentage chance of something as evidence is also classic right wing rhetoric.

it's not only a made-up percentage, it's also a transphobic dogwhistle that refers to the supposed inherent suicidality of trans people.

The funniest part is is when they make shit up about right wingers. Right wing politicians are usually so cartoonishly evil that there is no need to make up stuff about them, yet the radlibs do it anyways. See Russiagate as an example.

      • Mardoniush [she/her]

The problem is that radlibs are constantly aware that their politicians are doing the same thing, but less loudly. So they need to make up new evil things.

I was gonna look into it more today but I think I'm gonna carve a spot out for next week instead. I'm doing midlife crisis things right now and am trying to give up on ever being a software developer or IT guy since after 10 years of trying to get into either of those fields I've basically been told "fuck naw".

So one of the things I am exploring is fiction writing and I stated 2 stories that I eventually wanna see finished and am thinking a site specific for fiction is way better for exposure. Thanks for bringing this site to my attention.

They do this there a lot, and it just makes me sad for them because it indicates a complete detachment from real life trans community.

Like, if you're moving within the community irl, you're gonna meet a lot trans people who will fall into all kinds of buckets. Radlibs with extra padding on all the edges, toocute girl who's going to tell you about juche, prepper libertarian-coded people, self-loathers who closed their tttt tab before leaving the house, crusty polycule commune folks, tonnnns of people 196ers would call "tankies", and so on and so on.

I don't like the blahaj vibe, but I understand who in my community hangs out there. Any poster who can't even conceptualize who is posting here on hexbear, and have to propose that it's all fake, just doesn't have contact with any real life community. I think you'd have to be cut off entirely, except for some insular online spaces. Which it's more sad than anything else.

It's true. I'm aware of lots of trans people I dislike, who have bad opinions. Still trans though.

I would continue your joke and say come join us, but you really do not want to.

The amount of bullshit involved in cisnormative straight relationships is way too damn high. I don't understand how anyone can do this. I can't as a cisgender bisexual guy.

      • Orannis62 [ze/hir]
        ·

So before I came out, I was in a straight-appearing relationship, with dynamics that were unconsciously just queer enough that we often lightly made fun of our more traditional straight couple friends, like literally "are the straights ok?" type stuff (we still thought we were straight though, somehow).

EVEN SO it was so much more stifling than any of my relationships after I came out. The expectations are constant and unrelenting until you get to a place where there's no possible way anyone can read you as cishet, and even then cishets are so oblivious you have to outright tell them

I guess the crying myself to sleep and the literal heartache I get isn't because of what I see in the mirror! And the upheaval of my well established life is for funzies. Brb, gotta go tell my therapist that she diagnosed me wrong too.
