There's still a level of truth here, which is that right wingers tend to avoid colorful, single player, and fantasy style games, due to their need to enjoy realistic (usually gun) violence, dominating others competitively, and identifying vicariously with a realistic-looking protagonist.
It doesn't necessarily say much about a game, but it will say a lot about a games community. You will def find more chuds playing battlefield than zelda
