They've explicitly told us it's perfectly fine to sacrifice entire demographic groups for the sake of poltical expediency

What the libs have done is create an avenue of least resistance, where the party elites correctly understand they're free to condemn whole demographics to death to purchase the poltical loyalty of others

This is quite literally the death of solidarity and labor organizing in the United States and there's no coming back from that

Today it's Palestinians and immigrants, tomorrow it's native americans and trans people and on and on until they reach the one demographic they've always wanted to dump and destroy; the black working class

This is how fascism in America truly comes about, and so many have already failed what even five years ago would've been called the easiest test imaginable

The dems normalized genocide, it's Joever folks, this is what unplugging the life support of a left tradition looks like

My sister who's literal job is human rights law just told me I am selfish because as a dude my rights are not harmed in the US by Trump so I am "allowed" to favor the rights of Palestinians. Yes I'm certain Kamala "the law is the law" Harris will do all she can to help the many people she's deported, just as soon as she's confirmed in her belief that there is no consequence for committing a genocide.
Surely voting for someone committing a genocide will only have the best of results for other marginalised groups she's already shown she has, at the very best, a neutral attitude towards.
Hey fuckface: The Dems are also persecuting those groups. The Dems were the ones that THIS YEAR cracked down on student protesters, yet I am to believe that they will somehow "protect democracy"? Literally insane. Actual doublethink.

Now here's also a novel concept: You do not support palestinians if you are murdering them. Saying you do something actually means fuck all. Thoughts and prayers might make you feel good, but that doesn't stop the children from being burned alive.

If I find out who you are and meet you, then I will stab you. This is an actionable threat.

Dooming the Palestinians guarantees the doom of the other groups you dumb fuck, are you seriously under the delusion that state institutions once wedded to the industrial mechanisms of genocide will simply set those tools aside because what? They just really, really, really, didn't like Palestinians and that's all?

The population control techniques of Israeli fascism are already in the text books of US law enforcement agencies, Israeli AI software that selects civilian families for slaughter will and have already been sold to the US military, the "right" of the US National Guard to mow down civilians has already been enshrined by executive order, IOF soldiers are literally stalking US campuses to dox and threaten any students who speak up......just where the fuck do you think this leading to

A simpler rephrasing of this sentiment is "We must murder every Palestinian to prevent the death of vulnerable groups here." How is this an acceptable position to you? Even if it was completely fruitless I would prefer to stand against the slaughter of an entire people than partake in the system perpetuating it, I can't in good conscience do otherwise. This is one of the reasons I'm a little worried for Yemen. They're exactly the sort of target the Israeli government might consider dropping nukes on. A relatively distant country that's been a major pain in their ass, which they have no intention of invading, and which wouldn't be a fallout issue for them.

5 nukes is not going to give you dictatorial power over 300 million people spread across 4 time zones. The Zionist regime survives because it is able to make passive bystanders out of its neighbors. It would not survive the loss of that situation.

We don't actually know what will happen with Trump. He is a petty, dumb, narcissist who acts like a weather vane for his advisors. He could decide to drop a nuke on the region, or he could get triggered by something on Twitter and decide to stop all arms to get back at Netanyahu.

We know what the Democrats will do. They're doing it now. Acting so sad while pouring truckloads of money into the kid crushing machine.

Do you not understand what is going on or do you not understand what a genocide is? I'm not going to pick arguments over votes in the presidential election, I'd be better off trying to bail out the high tide.

If voting isn't worth a whole lot, it's not worth arguing with a liberal and making them double down, because that's all that's going to come of it.

The ones said that they have to vote against Trump because he's so mean. Even though Florida is no longer a swing state. Like they get and agree with me that this is an long-running campaign of genocide, they have come to detest the Israelis for their brutality but, Trump winning in 2016 just broke their brains enough that they can't imagine doing anything but voting for Democrats, no matter how much they resemble the Bush era ghouls they hated.

When you confront them with it, the cognitive dissonance is there, and it presents itself as getting hostile when being confronted with their voting for people currently committing genocide. They try to avoid that contradiction by changing the subject as soon as they can. The TV really makes them think Trump is the source and only problem in this world, even though I've told them repeatedly it isn't the case.

Hell, I remember when we were politically active liberals pre-Trump, and my mother displayed symptoms of what we now call Trump Derangement Syndrome, but, towards John Boehner of all people. She would talk with the same hatred every liberal has for Trump but, towards that guy, of all people, saying he was basically the root of all evil in this country. They always need, I guess, a Bonapartist figure to manifest their negative partisanship towards and I'm at a loss of how to break through.

My dad was the most crushing to hear, since his hatred for Putin as a scapegoat by the neocons for Trump winning, has made him invested in reading about the Ukraine war online. When I told him of my anger towards the Democrats on Gaza, he basically said that in the grand scheme of things, he doesn't really care since the American political establishment will never change anything on that issue. My takeaway from that was, at least his vote can change whether the orange Putin man is in charge or not. He's been that disillusioned ever since Bernie lost and showed the electoral system for what it is.

    Anyways, we all voted yesterday.
