If they pull me over for speeding or something and ask if I consent to having my car searched, I'd say, "holy SHIT no, NO, omg no no no no no fuck me no no no no". And then if they fall into my trap I'll tell them it's just pepcid AC and we'll have a big laugh.

This isn't funny, 69 cops died this month alone from just thinking about fentanyl, yes it's that powerful, uttering it's name can KILL YOU.

They will probably charge you for drug possession without bothering to test the pills

I think they would probably arrest me, take the pills as evidence, I'd have to pay some bullshit bail bond, lawyer up, and argue in court that they can't prove I had fentanyl in my car, and there is a real risk they would put some real fentanyl pills in the bucket.

best bet would be to make it as comically over the top as possible, and let the only answer you give the cops be "no, that isn't fentanyl."

They dont have to plant real fentanyl on you. They'll just point to the goofy label that says FEnTaNyl on it, say 'he put that label there' and rest their case. You'd have a better defense if the label was something else and the bottle actually had fentanyl.

according to the legal system the mere act of slapping that label on them magically transmutes the pills into actual fentanyl just with 100% cut. i'm not kidding either this is how it works.

      this

Its the same as getting caught selling oregano as weed. They'll prosecute you as a weed dealer anyways. Just a shitty one.

That's how you know they don't care about stopping drugs. If weed was actually bad, the oregano guy would be a hero wouldn't he?

probably no legal trouble from that but theyll still find a way to ruin your day. No fun allowed when cops are involved.

Off the top of my head...

You might checks the local laws on how many days you can be held without charges. In the USA, its somewhere around a handful of days on average. Don't have a job that will fire you if you are a no call/no show for 7~14 days.

Depending on where you are incarcerated, you might even get a bill for the time you spent in lockup, the food you were offered, the paperwork you filled out, etc. I you had a cell phone on your person, just assume that everything on it has been cloned and is now sitting in some local law enforcement database. (Usernames, passwords, saved texts, anything "deleted" whose file sectors haven't had new data written to them.)

You vehicle will be towed, searched, and impounded. You will have to pay the impound lot fee out of your own pocket. Unless you drive a really nice car that you get into the shop often, things will most likely be missing and/or broken when you get it out of impound. The impound lot will not be responsible for things that you "claim" to be missing or find broken and you've already proven you'd say untrue things to cops once with this bit.

Whether or not it is prosecutable is up for debate. What is not is the fact that you WILL end up spending the rest of your day in police custody. Is spending any amount of additional time with pigs worth a chuckle to yourself?

Doubtful as they can just claim they needed the time to verify the substance in question. And yeah, test kits can instantly reveal the presence of fentanyl, but nothing comes easy when dealing with cops.

Even if they don't frame you by throwing some real fentanyl in the bag, they can still probably get you legit charged with "obstructing an officer" or whatever it's called
