Weed is the only good one. Mushrooms as a treat. Never smoke weed more than every 4 days or it starts to build up in you and stops being really fun or inspiring and just becomes a dissociative lifestyle.

Also don't smoke it if you literally do it every 4 days that barely makes the cutoff for villi to regenerate (3-4). Vape or eat it. Smoking anything makes you stink.

I tried the others they suck ass or are terrifying in various ways.

Vicodin and heroin are not fun. I was surprised. Neither is cocaine. Amphetamines are but this is where the "terrifying" part starts. Psychosis is fun until it isn't fun.

Oh no, I don't think that the whole family of mescaline related drugs and SSRIs like sertraline should ever be combined. Been a while since I knew Tryptamine and Phenylthylamines (???) Facts off the top of my head, but if you're not joking I wish I saw this sooner.

Anything chemically related to mescaline like LSD and mushrooms is supposed to be bad with antidepressants IIRC.

Oh I believe you. That is probably enough raw THC to get pretty stoned no matter your tolerance, just keep adding more goo.

What I mean is I like to go really insane and get visuals and shit and if I build it up in my bodyfat I have enough residual tolerance that I can't just take a hit and get stoned.

I would have to eat a ton of edibles or RSO and keep escalating. I can't even read books if I have the residual tolerance, I used to try and it went poorly.

Little fingers in your lungs which passively sweep out stuff that makes its way in. They will be immobile for several days after being stunned by smoke.

Also smoking can pop or clog alveoli, which is a quick shortcut to infection. They cannot grow back, so your cardiopulmonary system will permanently be a tiny bit less efficient forever.

Thank you for the explanation, I didn't know about the risk to alveoli either. Very informative.

This is a shit example but imagine walking a path through grass every day vs every four days except if the grass dies, you die

Tl;dr just vape! It’s less harmful, more efficient (you’re not literally burning money), and you can use the vaped bud for fun edibles or tinctures

Good vapes don't get hot enough to be harmful and don't contain combustion products. Really good vapes have as little as possible besides the concentrate

They're the little cellular hairs that sweep all the dust and mites and tar out of your trachea/bronchioles. Smoking literally burns them short/covers them in tar and they have to grow out again.

Yeah so the problem with hard opiates is that they'll hollow your soul out over time, and they are actively more addictive the more your life sucks when you start using them. People who have good lives tend to be more likely to say things like "opiates are too subtle/overrated". But when shit sucks, opiates make you feel content. Obviously that's real bad if you weren't already somewhat content with life. When I started using them I felt like I found some sort of answer to everything wrong with me. But my problems didn't go away, I just stopped being bothered by them.

The shittiest thing is that this effect isn't reliable. It's called the honeymoon phase of opioid addiction. Within a few months of active opioid addiction, you'll stop feeling the effects, but you'll still need to continuously use them to avoid horrific withdrawal symptoms.

I recommend LSD, Shrooms, or dissociatives instead. The euphoria can be vastly superior because it isn't this kind of "ultimately contented, but empty" euphoria you get with opioids. Instead you just sort of feel really good about the actual positive shit that exists in your life and around you.

Opiates aren't even that great recreationally tbh. Like they feel good but they aren't fun if that makes sense. You just kinda nod out while feeling good

Meanwhile weed, psychedelics, ketamine, etc. makes you feel good AND it gives you interesting effects or enhances reality

Definitely, they are in no way a party drug. Two people doing hard opiates together is just two people sitting in silence next to each other while they nod out in their own little worlds. That said, when you both run out and have to go through the exact same demented set of withdrawal symptoms together? That builds real solidarity, unironically, but there is no fun/excitement in getting high on opiates. In fact, they sort of kill my ability to have real fun because they are taking up all the mu opioid receptor spots that could otherwise be occupied by endogenous opioid peptides when I do something rewarding.

I can't even enjoy music on opioids, which blows my mind. Not even on my Buprenorphine maintenance dose. Once withdrawals start I can listen to my favorite songs and feel things again. Not worth withdrawing over, but it definitely helps pass the time if I have to go there.

When I got some actual good heroin, I realized why heroin addicts say they love heroin. It’s like an anti-depressant, literally the only thing that has ever worked. Stay the fuck away from it.

Every time I've done shrooms I've been stuck awake for hours with my brain full of angry bees that won't shut up

Ecstasy is the best, with the worst hangover... Ketamine is great because the "hangover" is like an anti-hangover... Coke is the worst

I liked the hangover off a weed brownie, but that's cause it felt like a runner's high.

Frequent ket use will have you involuntary pissing yourself and can lead to fatal overdoses with escelating use due to tolerance building up, its also addictive.

      Stick with weed and lsd.

Well yeah... I wouldn't suggest using any of it frequently... If you want something frequently then weed is the least bad option

A lot of people seem to swear by kratom and from what I gather it's really got no nasty side effects or withdrawal symptoms from use.

Not your point, but when they do scary anti-drug propaganda about drugs being made with "drain cleaner" they're talking about hydrochloric acid which is a standard chemical used for any number of things when making drugs in any context. If you've ever seen a prescription name ending in "HCL" or "Hydrochloride" that's drain cleaner! ohnoes

side effects are limited. take too much and you just get the spins and feel nausea for 30 minutes. withdrawal is possible it just takes much longer to get physically addicted. basically you need to be doing pretty heavy doses all day for weeks and weeks (although your mileage may vary).

compared to regular opioids, the withdrawal is pretty short

Yeah, generally a lot safer than everything else. Although it has some downsides, it doesn't really eat into your lifestyle like others do. Really good opiate replacement for light stuff like codeine and hydros
